break pedal drops

break pedal drops
hi all.
Yesterday my truck tried to give me a heart attack. I was breaking when all of a sudden the breaks let go and my brake pedal drops about an inch then the brakes catch again.
Came to a stop. then the brakes are normal. after another couple of hours it happens again.
Pleanty of meat on the pads and the brake fluid is about 1/2 way in the reservoir.
Anybody run into this?
