Program for a Delete

Just had my 2011 F350 DW dump 6.7 deleted the EGR, def, exhaust. Been waiting months and now the guy doing it claims he’s waiting weeks for a program for the delete that he says gets sent to his phone so he can program it because after deleting it’s now in limp mode ?! Can anyone reccomend where to get this program or is he pulling my chain ?!

I would be going in person to independent diesel shops in your area to ask. You're not going to have very much luck asking online given the fact that deleting emissions components breaks federal laws. Even in person many shop owners will hesitate to tell you they can do it, if they can. I think it's something like $50k fine if you're caught removing emissions components. Unlikely to be hit by that fine if you do the work yourself, but few shops are willing to take the risk and be turned into an example.

I certainly wouldn't be going back to the guy that removed the hard parts from the truck, the fact that he did that without already having a tuner or ability to flash the computer with a deleted tune tells me he doesn't know what's he's doing and not to be trusted. Hopefully he gave you all the parts that fell off so you can get it returned to stock.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
