So I had a machine shop build me a stock 351 Windsor long story short he put the wrong cam in witch is not speed density compatible the cam is (m select mtf-5 )
it’s recommended upgraded valve springs and I don’t know what ones he choose and now I’m replacing the cam with comps cam (35-255-5) and they also recommend valve springs but now if I use the comps cam are the valve springs from the mtf-5 cam compatible with the comps cam 35-255-5 I couldn’t find a web site that lists recommended valve spring type for the m select can like comps does on there web site and also what about the rocker arms and push rods sorry to keep posting on here this guy really ****ed my engine up and I’m just trying to get it back on the road and do everything right
This is what the springs look like incase u can tell from a photo the cam shaft ,lifter, rocker arms and push rods are all Melling so I would assume Mabey the springs are Melling also
Not knowing the specs at all, but fron shopping springs not that long ago, that looks like a slight upgrade from stock. Single spring with damper. Agean not knowing the specs, but looks like it might be a fine spring for your new EFI friendly cam.

that sounds about right because I know if they arnt stock they are one spec above stock but ur the man thank you was just worried these wouldt work with that cam but I did call comp and they said stock ones would work fine to so hopefully I’m either stock or just a step above
