The RAS kit "prevents" axle wrap by pre-wrapping the axle- it puts tension on the factory leaf springs and permanently tilts the axle backwards. It offers more suspension flex than standard traction bars, but it's far from an ideal solution, and nothing I want on my truck. I went with the BDS recoil traction bars and have been very happy with them.

I run PMF's on mine and love them. Big difference in the way the truck feels especially loaded over rough roads. Also run their 3-link setup on the front.
