Hey yall, so quick update on my last post of my cables getting hot and trying to weld to battery post. My starter selonoid was junk and so was the starter. I’m now doing the EEC-IV delete i unbolted the computer from under the dash and fished it through the fire wall. I have a HEi distributor for the engine but was wondering how everyone is plugging it in if anyone has any pictures or anything would be helpful.

Cool beans you got that part sorted out. Don't forget to update that thread with what you found, to help out the next guy.
Sorry, I got nothing specific as far as deleting the EEC-IV system. Before you send away for your membership package in the "Rip out all that pollution crap" club, be sure to do your research first. And don't just throw away all the removed pieces. There are plenty of guys who may need them to get their truck through emissions testing. Most of that stuff is no longer available new.
There should be a white with blue stripe wire feeding your original coil. Cut this wire and then extend it to the HEI distributor and plug it into the B+ terminal on the HEI. That's all there is to it. The hard part is getting the distributor inserted in the right place and all the plugs wires hooked up correctly.
