Do these connections have an o-ring? How do they come apart? Also, how common is it to have a problem with the oil cooler dripping coolant? I can’t see exactly where it’s coming from but looks like a little has been running down the oil filter. This will be the third time taking it off, I don’t want to do it again. The first time it was dripping oil, took it off, put new seals in then it started getting oil in the coolant. Re-sealed again and now it appears to have a slight coolant leak on the outside. The end of the element where the first set of o-rings go was slightly corroded, the area where the o-ring actually sits appeared to be fine but, could that be the source of the leak. I’m considering changing out the element this time.
It takes a special tool to get the fuel lines apart. they have a spring that locks them together. I do not recall there being any o-rings but it's been a while. They might not be leaking though. it looks like something else has leaked on them
as far as the oil cooler..yes they have coolant and oil run through through separate chambers. You would need a reseal kit for the oil cooler and there is plenty of info/ videos on how to to the job
you will want to buy the oil cooler kit from diesel orings, riffraff, CNC fab.
