Oil in coolant

I replaced my oil cooler o rings and gaskets because I had a leak on the outside from it. Put it back together and my truck died after about a minute and oil started spewing from my coolant Reservoir. Brand new oil and coolant and hardly have any oil on my dipstick now. Could it be bad seals or do you think it’s a failed cooler?

Sounds like you rolled an o ring while rebuilding the cooler. You need to use plenty of lube on the o rings. I use Vasoline.

thanks for the answer this truck has beat my *** this past 4 weeks fixing one thing after another. I finally am biting the bullet and taking it to a shop. It’s at the point I don’t even wanna look at the damn thing.
