Help
I have a 95 F250 4x4 Power Stroke with auto trans. When I got in it this moring and started it up, the indicator light on the overdrive switch (on shift handle) was flashing on and off. It is snowing here (8 inch) so I had put the truck in 4 wheel drive when I noticed the light on the shift handle was flashing. Taking the truck out of 4 wheel drive does not stop the flashing, nor does pushing the button at the end of the shifter. I suspect the light was flashing before putting the truck in 4 wheel drive and I didn't notice it. The flashing is steady with no difference in timing.
Any Help would be appreciated.

the flashing light means the sensors have detected a problem in your tranny. You will need to pull codes from the computer before you can start diagnosing, unless there are other obvious symptoms.
Get a dealer, a parts store, a buddy or yourself to pull codes.
Locally Autozone will pull codes for free.
