Trailer Wiring weirdness
1995 F150 XL SCLB 4x4 M5OD 351w swapped
Finally got around to adding the tow package harness and wiring up a 7 blade plug with a Tekonsha P3 brake controller but running into a weird scenario.I don't have brake and turn signals at the 7 blade plug once the truck is on, all indicators on the truck itself still work as expected.
This leads me to believe the 7 blade is wired correctly and all is well from the wiring harness back, but something isn't allowing the brake and turn signals to work. Not sure what to look at next.
Video sequence
Key off - manual activation of brake controller (indicators and brake light up)
key on (+12 lights up)
Put in reverse (BU lights up)
Turn on headlights/markers (TM lights up)
Test brake, hazard, and turn signals (RT LT don't light up, BK lights up)
Turn off lights (TM turns off)
Turn off truck (+12 and BU turn off)
turn on hazards (LT & RT light up)
