seized right axle slip joint

I have a 1992 F250 4x4, and I keep hearing a thump in the front end when I drive. All the bearings have been changed and it is still doing it. I pulled the rubber sleeve from the slip joint on the right side axle and it is seized. Could this be the thumping. Is there anyway to fix it without replacing it?

Are all the U joints free in the front....there should be 1 left and 2 on the right...
