Electrical Gremlins
I replaced the fuel filter, gas tank and fuel pump on the front tank. The gas gauge is reading half at empty and completely pegged at full.
The wipers won’t move on intermittent settings but will at constant.
The stock radio volume fluctuates up and down at random without touching it.

The wiper controller is behind the glove box. You may be able to repair it by removing it and tapping on it to break the relay contacts loose. Don't confuse it with the RABS computer.
If you're handy, you can disassemble the front face of the radio and clean up the radio button contacts with rubbing alcohol. I've been surprised how much electronic stuff I can fix with alcohol.
I'd replace the intermittent wiper governor with a known good one and retest (the electrical pinpoint testing is a bit difficult)
It's one of the ones where substitute a known good part comes into play
I have a good used governor in my toolbox (still) because of this
The governors very seldom fail
I think I replaced 4 or 5 in 30 years
I'd find a 1993 EVTM (or use AllData at your library) and do some of the wiper switch pinpoint testing for no intermittent wiper function first
