What do you mean by “faulty spark plugs”? Tell us exactly what you saw when you pulled them.
Also, your profile shows “1997 F-150”. That doesn’t really tell us about your truck at all. Which engine and transmission in it? What other work has been done to it?

I reordered your first post in the order that things might have happened.
How did you determine that the fuel pump was "bad"?
Did it start then die in reverse after the fuel pump was replaced? Or was the fuel pump replaced to try and fix the no-start condition?
Kind of looks like the fuel pump was fine and the no-start is caused by something else.
Retell your story in the order that things happened.

Pull the vacuum hose (should be red color) off of the fuel pressure regulator and see if it's full of liquid fuel. If it's blown it will let fuel directly in to the intake manifold. It will also let pressure drop to zero when the pump is off but can still create pressure with a good pump running.
Just one possibility. Be careful that you don't flood a cylinder. You can damage the engine.
