If I was hotshoting I would replace them often but go with the bilstein 4600.
Those are quite a bit more expensive.
And, I don't understand replacing them "often", I replace as needed.
I put the same RS5000 series Rancho shocks on my RAM 2500, and that was after the OE shocks had a over 300K, and they were still on and going when I sold the truck with 614K.
