Valve Body Replacement?

Recently acquired an 04 FX4 5.4 3v. Since acquisition, it developed a P0750 code and was erratically shifting in and out of 2nd gear. After some diagnostics, I replaced the AB solenoid pack with a Standard Motor Products brand and inspected the valve body and check *****. Reassembled and things were just peachy... for a couple of days. Yesterday it was back up to it's old tricks, but now in addition to the P0750, it has a P1714 code as well. Dropped the valve body again and this time I noticed a small crack in one of the valve body channels to/from the replaced solenoid. See attached picture. Do I need to just replace it with a Sonnax unit? Any advice I'd appreciated.

RangerOttis - I would suggest this thread get moved to the following:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum69/
"Clutch, Transmission, Differential, Axle & Transfer Case"

If you don't get an answer in either place, I might suggest you try to contact member "Mark Kovalsky".
His signature list himself as:
"Mark
Former Ford Automatic Transmission Engineer 1988 - 2007"

I don't have near that kind of cred, but just based on the pic I would think it needs to be replaced.
Good luck.
