Help with window rust.
Not sure what to call this. My son has a 2012 F250 Power Stroke. The tinted windows on the back and rear doors have specks of rust. They seem to be embedded in the glass. He heard it was a problem with the tinted windows. (Not sure from who?) It almost looks like steel in the glass starting to rust. ???? I tried to scrape the glass and it smoothed the chip, but still was in the glass. I did a search on here and didn't find anything. Years ago had a problem with a grinder throwing hot steel sparks and would embed in the glass. But this is on 3 sides and very scattered. Nothing on roll up windows as far as I seen.
Anyone heard of this before? And is there a fix? I doubt it.
