2011 F250 6.2 104K I took my truck out of hibernation and went for a ride. I noticed a little chugging at light throttle in 6th gear. Then later after a good ride the check engine light starts flashing and I have no power. I came to a stop and the light went away and it ran normal for a while. Hooked up Live Link and did a data log and this is what stands out. Any idea what caused this spike? Shouldn't that value be close to 1? What else should I be looking at?
Turns out that coil is missing a resistor. So $64K Q. Where do I get a resistor? The service manual does not show it in the ignition component exploded view.
Yes that resistor. Replaced all coils wires and plugs. Apparently they neglected to include a resistor for that coil. I suppose I will have to get a replacement boot.
