21536107]Does anyone have information on parts needed to implement an improved (improved over stock) limited slip, front differential on 2023+, non-termor trucks? As is, the truck is 3 wheel drive at best, it seems.
I’d wait until ARB has an option for the 23+ front axle. Spending the $$ on parts and labor to install ford limited slip carrier vs a selectable locker would be close to the same, and limited-slip is a half measure when you really need 100% locked front traction.
Your set up cost and install either locker or limited slip will be about $800-$1000 labor alone. Eaton E-locker is another option - that won’t require a compressor- but I’ve found the e-locker to be less durable than ARB carrier (on other trucks). Both air operated and e-locker have their pros/cons.
If you really want only limited slip-
you can look up the parts- they are clearly identified for non-slip and limited
slip. I did not see that there was different R&P gears for LS- appears they use the same parts. So just changing the carrier, prob install all new bearings, seals, shims and def a new spacer and set up & install labor.
