Ok this has been happening for a couple years and at first it’s was once in a great blue moon now it’s might happen once on every drive but still intermittently.
So it will be fine until a take a fairly sharp turn. Then the steering wants not to return back to center. I have to forcibly steer it back to center and even then it still wants to pull towards that side.
I have taken it to a shop and both times it didn’t act up. The tie rod ends have been replaced and both times they said the front end it good.
What should I look for???
Bad power steering pump
Bad steering box
Bad front axle U-joint
Air in my power steering system
Bad steering shaft U-joint or coupler
Bad radius arm bushing
Im guessing here because it’s stumped a few people and I want to get finally fixed once and for all.
Check your front axle u joints first. Turn the wheels a bit to one side or the other. With the hubs unlocked, use a prybar or similar to turn each axle shaft. They should turn a complete revolution without significant binding.

I will check that tomorrow. I know the passenger side was replaced about 4-5 yrs ago I probably should’ve done both. But I’ll check them both to make sure. Thanks
