ok I just understood the translation of a-hole in french ! I meant that the A "piercing" seemed to me to be the bindings but I had a doubt, sorry the French/English translation is not always relevant, Apparently I said a bad word without knowing it or wanting to.
You said nothing bad, its American humor. Both truck frames do not have your hole B, however, a 3rd frame I have under a trailer I bought for the spare tire setup, has the B holes, they are empty. happy motoring.

You're fine. We Americans always giggle when words mean 2 things. And ibuzzard is our resident adolescent and will always get the first word and laugh in. Which is why we love him.
Okay, no problem and thanks because it also allows me to learn more about the American language !
While presenting my exhaust system, I realized that a section was missing... the one between the pipe that screws onto the manifold and the muffler... So I'll have to find a solution, because I don't want to buy a complete system just for that...
ADELEANDRE, Oh the stories that I could share about how this American has had to learn German and the embarrassing mistakes I have made. I can only image how much worse my French would be. That said, I laughed out loud as I read this thread, so a big Thanks to everyone who can bring a smile with a little 4 year old humour.
I made a model out of plastic tubing, it's not the original shape but it suits what I want to do because I want to put the exhaust outlet under the step behind the cabin, so I need to move the muffler a little forward towards the engine. I bought some 304L stainless steel tubing with elbows and a friend will weld the whole thing to get this shape.

ADELEANDRE: Great idea with the peices of plastic pipe. Look forward to the next instalment of The ADELEANDRE Chanel. How is the rest of the build going?
I'm stuck because of the painting that I can't do because the weather conditions are bad (humidity, wind, too low temperature) and since I'm using an inflatable paint booth to put outside, it's not good yet for the moment. That's why I'm moving forward on what I can, including the exhaust, the shock absorbers, maybe soon the brake lines.

Yeah, I will be glad when the weather finally breaks, and we have nice weather for more than a few hours or days. But progress is progress, and you seem to be making good progress with very good results. I remember from an earlier thread, that someone mentioned painting the area behind the grill black. What did you ever decide and what color will you paint the the inner fenders?
