Hello, I’m looking to replace my cab mounts. Having a difficult time finding the correct ones. Dorman only makes ones for position 1 and 3 is what they said. I’d really like to get the OEM part numbers for all of them hardware included. Door sticker says build date is 02/03. Ford f250 crew cab. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
I'd avoid Dorman products, especially when it's a part that takes more than about 2 minutes to change. I've installed the S&B mounts, and they are pretty high quality, IMO.
I say pick your favorite manufacture of polyurethane body mounts (link below to just one example). The ride is not noticeably different from stock body mounts (the truck's suspension is responsible for ride quality), they're WAY cheaper than the silicone offerings, and they'll last literally forever.
Some trolls will probably get on here to say they squeak because they read that online somewhere and will repeat it like a parrot. That is simply not true because to cause a squeak there must be relative motion between two parts. So yeah, a suspension bushing made of polyurethane absolutely has the potential to squeak, squawk, and make all kinds of racket because the suspension parts move relative to the stationary polyurethane bushing. If you've got relative motion on the body mounts , then the cab is falling off the frame and the squeaking is the least of your concerns.
I'm on my fourth truck that I've replaced the stock body mounts with poly ones (because the stock mounts just disintegrate after about five-ish years), not one squeak or any noise ever and not even my princess of a wife can tell any difference in ride quality.
