Been 6 months on an 88 bricknose restoration, and finally got it on the road.
All the braking components are new, and the passenger side rear brake locks up when braking hard.
It doesn't lock up in reverse, and yes, the adjusters are on correctly.
Please advise.

Did you mistakenly put 2 rearward shoes on one side and 2 forward shoes on the other? Rearward shoes have more friction material than forward shoes, that would make 1 drum grab much sooner than the other.

Send pictures Without consideration to anything else, this here is an example of poor quality aftermarket parts , this is the rear drum on my 1996 with aftermarket adjuster parts. See how that lever is not horizontal and in line with the screw thing? That would, if you kept using it, lock up too. The shoe question above is also important
Well, I think you folks nailed it.
I had thicks on one side, thins on the other.
Now I get to start from scratch and hope it fixes the problem.
I hate the springs.
