replace lights with guages

I want to replace my oil light with a guage. can someone help me with the wiring? also can an alt guage replace my gen light?

stock 1962 F100 4x4 w/223

If you are going to mount additional gauges, I would go mechanical oil pressure gauge. More accurate, and no wires. For the charging system, many folks now days prefer a volt meter as opposed to an ammeter. That could be wired around all the existing light circuit with the instructions on the box.
