Were you in the locked position when it jammed? Maybe the lock release is hung up? Try moving the lock lever to the unlocked position? I think you normally can turn the key to on without messing with the lock lever, but maybe it's hung up? You do need to hold that lever to get into lock and remove the key.
"The lock cylinder is also relatively easy to remove and replace. Theres a pin at the underside of the lock cylinder. Insert a small punch and that should release it and allow you to pull it out. Good Luck." found that in another link. (post #2 here too, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post10346100 )
Here's from post #16 in the last link,
I use a 3/8" or so to drill them out, last one I used a 1/2" bit and that actiuly worked better than the smaller drills. Just have to watch out for the drill bit grabbing, that's what broke a 1/4" bit once, and I quit using that size.
You don't have to press hard on the drill execpt when you start the hole. That metal is soft so watch out on how deep you go. Ctubutis scans tell how deep to drill.
The way I took what DaveF said was to knock off the outer part like you did and if you look in from that end you should see the pin that needs to be pushed in.
Because you cant turn it, it will not be where you can get to it with the wheel off.
I think if you had a key that worked / turn, dont you turn it to just be for run? If so then you need to look between the 9 oclock and think 11 oclock for the pin.

I started drilling it out. I noticed one the new one how the two small pins that ride against the chrome part of the lock moves in as you turn the key into position.
