Hey guys, new to the forum and looking for some help.
Just installed a set of Carli caster shims on my 2024 F250 Lariat and I've started to notice some vibration/humming as I get up to highway speeds and rattling clunking at lower speeds.
can the shims cause this, or am i chasing the wrong thing? Anyone have similar issues? I cant find much on a general search, but did find a YouTube that mentions something close to.it.
I'm curious if it has to do with the "dummy" hubs on the passenger and causing a vibration/noise, but haven't found much yet.
next step.is going to be replacing the hub with a auto locking version as they used to come from factory

There is an SSM from Ford specifically for the dummy hub issues. Here is the original bulletin text:
https://www.tsbsearch.com/Ford/SSM52423
52423 is reported as being superceded by ssm 53231 now.
Today I swapped out the dummy hub with an auto locking and it immediately remedied the issue. Final step is running the new vacuum lines where Ford didn't install them on Feb 2024 build dates and after.
Hopefully this can help someone else in the same spot
I am curious what degree caster shim did you install? Carli put out the article I attached below mentioning that the 2024+ models are limited to a 1 degree shim otherwise you will experience a grinding noise. The dummy hub is the other common culprit. https://www.carlisuspension.com/23-s...gMd7L58-hoA-Uh
