F-150 vibration
I've been reading your forum about the mystery vibration in the new F-150.I have a 2004 FX screw with around 19,000 mi. this vibration is not constant and has happened about seven to ten times since I rolled it out of the showroom.Are the people experiencing this problem every-day or is it a sparatic problem like mine? Also, I was wondering if there has been a solution to this problem? My dealer has the truck now but because the vibration is not constant they're having a tough time figuring this thing out.Thanks for the forum I thought I was the only one with this problem.

I've got 19k as well and I've fought with this issue over 9 months now. I'm going through the TSB process to get a replacement or money back. It just makes me sick as I've loved everything else about the truck. It's bad and it's frustrating. If you just do a search and type "vibration" you will see all the posts about this issue. You won't have enough time in a whole day to read them all, but it's a good place to start so you might be able to pinpoint a particular known issue or, in fact, a larger issue which some owners have like myself. I'm one of the lucky few who has had all the issues like rear end clutch packing, drive line slip yoke, vibration dampening kit, steering rack gear replaced, tires balance...balance....re-balanced, new tires, and still the problem is there. The Ford engineer is coming out next week to put his fancy little meters on and verify. I'll be sure to post the findings.
