Carpet Recommendations

On my recently acquired Excursion, I want to pull the carpets out and clean them since most all but the front passenger seat need to come out anyways for some recovering work. I have the Eddie Bauer trim and since the seats are essentially black and tan, I am thinking of just replacing the entire carpet with black. Anyone got any recommendations on who makes a good OEM set? I see several suppliers, some of whom do not specify which of their offerings are the OEM pile. Most say the backing is NOT attached but I am sure 3M adhesive would solve that problem. Any input or wisdom much appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Seat Repair

Thanks John. I actually ordered my seat parts from the Seat Shop. Second time from them, both of which were for '05 EX and very happy with the results. I will keep these folks in mind for the future.

The Seat Shop won’t embroider the Limited logo so I went with Richmond.
Next time I will have them custom made by a local upholstery shop. Last quote I got was $1,800 for both seats with the Limited emblem embroidered.

Emroidery

Luckily, the Eddie Bauer doesn't have a logo to embroider.

the bottom of my driver's seat is cracked badly, the typical spot on the edge where we slide in/out....

I called up Richmond to get a new bottom cover, and croaked at the 'new prices'

the seat is still cracked, I can't see it when I am driving

John, I do not know what they quoted you but the Seat Shop has been pretty reasonable for that part.
