Side Wall Solenoid 302

Truck had bern through four Solenoids in two years, Borg Warner and Ford OEM. Don’t want to put on anymore Solenoids after this. We have a “Standard” Solenoid at OReillys for $37, Lifetime Limited Warranty and an Echlin at NAPA for $57, three year warranty. Some say “ Cole Hersee”, but they are over $100 and you get a one year warranty….What do you think?

Edit: Just found out “Standard Motor Parts” owns “Echlin”, that is an easy decision.

Thanks

Checked everything very thoroughly, every connection and all the wiring looked real good, was very careful routing the wire putting 3/8” tubing as a sheath where any metal contact was possible and coating all connections with Dialectic Grease. OReilly checked the starter with an in vehicle test and it tested good. The Oyssey Battery was charged, 13.2 volts. Then someone mentioned the sidewall solenoid and I did not know a sidewall solenoid could make partial contact sending low voltage. I thought it was either full contact or no contact. But if you read up on it a bad Solenoid can cause the exact symptoms I am having. This is the first guy who mentioned that. So going to change the Solenoid again for the fourth time and am trying to find the best one I can. It looks like the “Standarrd.” The “Cole Hersee” is supposed to be better, but it is over $100 and only has a one year warranty. That is where we stand.

Edit: I apologize if I violated some policy by starting another thread on a similar issue. But I thought the issue was resolved and was looking for the best part and that was separate.

Thanks
