I want to replace the fuel lines running from my tank (have a front and rear tank) to the fuel pump. Not having any luck finding replacement parts. Can I purchase just a standard nylon hose? I haven't done a whole lot of digging on specifications, I was hoping there would be a kit out there.
Any tips? I can't really find a tutorial so just kinda winging it. All help is appreciated
I guess it bears the question on why you want to replace them? The stock nylon ones don't rot or rust like metal or rubber, so should be good unless otherwise damaged. You can blow them out with compressed air if there is a clog.
Yeah, it's all low pressure, so there are no rules. You can just bypass them altogether if you want and run rubber hose from tank to selector valve. I kept mine when replacing all the lines, and just slid rubber hose onto the plastic lines......I dunno why, I guess I liked the idea of just un-cliping the lines when I need, rather than removing a hose clamp haha but either way is fine. If you suspect they may have leaks, just ditch 'em and run hose.
