i did mine.mines a 93.figured it was now or beside the road latter lol.figured 17 yrs young for metal fuel lines was enough and wasn't going to risk it.
i got a 90 and a 93 the 93 has 2 tanks the 90 just one, both have the stock fuel pumps , and i m staying with the stock fuel pumps , because i see u prefer them
Just because I prefer them doesn't mean much, they have just worked good for me.
All the lines on my pickups are nylon from the tanks to the selector valve, and from there to the metal line that crosses over to the the other side. The only time I have ever seen a nylon line that I thought needed replacing was on a pickup that had set for several years without a bed on it in the sun. the lines were noy bad but I thought the return line was too stiff, so it was probably brittle. If your lines are nylon I would not change them, if they are metal I would inspect where the clips hold it to the frame for rust,if no rust I would not change them. Where do you go to in west texas, I only live 18 miles from the texas line.
