Hello. I have a 1977 ford f150. 2wd. 400. My weekend project this time i'm going to try and replace the rubber fuel lines from rear to front. Anybody have an idea of how many rubber lines there are? Also what size would they be? From reading different threads on here i've gathered there is one on the rear tank which I should be able to loosen the two straps and have enough room to get to the line. The tank on the side i'm assuming is the same way. There are 3 on the fuel selector valve? the little box on the drivers side frame rail. 1 from the fuel pump to the frame that connects into a metal line. so 6 all together maybe 7? should I just buy a roll at the parts store? and again what size should i get? thanks in advance for the advice.
Just get some bulk fuel hose from the parts store and cut to fit. You'll want to ask for fuel hose by name. Everything between the fuel pump and tanks should be 3/8", everything between the fuel pump and carburetor should be 5/16".

Agree. A few (3-4') of 3/8 and one foot of 5/16" should be more than enough. Also may need some new clamps.
