my exhaust pipe separated from the muffler the other day while on the highway to Big Bend NP. It separated where the pipe leaves the muffler. Welds gave out after 24 years.
Figured I would replace. I tried searching and it was one rabbit hole after another. Any recommendations. I saw attached kit from summit. I don’t need something super fancy. She’s mainly a highway cruiser.
what engine? My exhaust was falling apart (lovely rust) and I needed essentially the same as you. Gave me a little noise, but was very friendly at highway speeds. Probably a smidge small for a 7.3/6.0 though
I used this setup on my V-10. isn't pretty, but will last another 20yrs down south. 2000 X Exhaust Repair
