Mine had a schedule date of 5/12
An In Production date of 5/20
Last update date of 5/29
So, in production for 23 days!
Seriously?
Nope.
They've been "Manufacturing at one of our factories" for 23 days now.
Spoke to the manager at the dealership this afternoon. He claims that he has a customer that ordered a Bronco last November, it was built in late February and he's still waiting for Ford to ship it. In all likelihood, even if Ford finally shows my truck as built it could take months for them to ship it.
Going to the dealership next Monday or Tuesday to get my deposit back.
Went to the dealership today to get my deposit back. Sales manager tells me my truck is built and he has a copy of the manufacturer's title on his desk. I tell him that the tracking site says its "in production" for over 20 days and hasn't been updated since May 29th.
Turns out we're both right. The truck is sitting outside in a storage lot but its still, technically, "in production" since its not finished. Apparently it is waiting to go back inside the factory to have unknown components and / or software installed. Sometime. Maybe soon. Maybe not.
Told him I'd wait another 30 days to see what happens. We'll see.....
Started me wondering - if they don't have enough parts to actually finish building a truck what happens when it comes in for warranty repairs?

Reason: final Ranger update
In a couple of days it will now be 7 months since I ordered my 2025 Ranger
It has been built. Finally!
Now it doesn't have a shipping slot. Sitting in a storage lot in Michigan.
Still driving my F150.
Keep ignoring your customers, Ford; soon you won't have any.
My truck was finally delivered just about a week shy of EIGHT MONTHS since I ordered it.
I'm now in discussion with the Ford area rep about the employee pricing discount. The advertisement stated that you had to order or take delivery of a new vehicle by 7/7/25. Ford's interpretation of the offer is that it doesn't apply to a vehicle ordered before the promotion was announced if its not then delivered and purchased by 7/7/25. Ford had the truck sitting in a Michigan storage lot until the date had passed before they shipped it. The dealership sales manager and I are wondering where in the fine print it states that. No start date only an end date is specified in the offering.
I ordered the optional "stick on" keypad for the driver's door. They have it but can't find the card with the default access code. Since it's no longer a factory installed part they don't stick the card in the owner's manual like they did with my F150.
Y'all are wild. Waitin' 3/4 of a year to get a pickup truck. Heck by the time you get it the next model year is all over social media. I am glad though that Ford didn't forget about you.
