I am new to the Bronco (just bought it, woo!) and I am curious if anybody has changed out the stock headlight and wiper switches to something modern. The wiring looks like something that might not work with a standard rocker switch, but I am curious. Having something that I can flick on or off rather than the OEM **** sounds nice, and could include a modular switch panel that controls other lights or equipment as well.
I just want to flick the lights on like in a home. Push the rocker one way for on, push it the other way to turn it off.
Just don't
How do you plan on running the intermittent wiper function with a toggle switch?
There is a rheostat in the wiper switch and an intermittent governor in the circuit to make the intermittent wipers work
For the headlights, you can do what you want with those wires and make them work
But explain the "why" again
I agree some with the previous poster, but, you would need a 3 position rocker switch (off, parking, & headlight) and a separate rheostat for the dash light intensity and cabin lights since all of these functions are controlled from a single switch assembly.
It will take a chunk of the dash real estate and a bit of re wiring the harness to do this.

My guess would be by using the wiper switch. I agree there is zero benefit to change from the push/pull switch to a rocker switch.
