68 Hazard lights switch

I have only seen a pic of one so I dont know how it works or if it may be available NOS or good used condition my 68 is missing it and the brake light switch goes through it. Does anyone reproduce these ? Does anyone know the engineering number for one of these?

if you Google "bumpside ford emergency flasher switch" you will find some sources. LMC has them as well, if in stock. Emergency Flasher Switches - LMC Truck

Where was black bracket style mounted on the dash ? Also on my dash going right to left there is a cigar lighter, **** for the choke, and one more hole that is blanked off and then the steering column I saw a pic of a 68 truck recently on F book that was being called unrestored and in my blanked off spot was what looked like a period part that had a red self illuminating switch I thought it may have been factory for the emergency flashers.

The switch on my 67 is located in the glove box, top left side. Maybe someone with a 68 can chime in?

Here is a good thread that discusses the locations of the emergency flasher thru the bumpside years: Where is the emergency flasher switch? - The FORDification.com Forums

The illuminated red switch is for the cargo light on the rear of the cab if equipped. It lights the **** when on, and goes out when off.
