RAP module
I have an interesting mess found under may dash at the RAP module. Replaced a gem module and fuse box after finding a parasitic drain and fixed the problem.
Scanned the vehicle with an Autel scanner and found no communication to the RAP module. Investigated and found the connectors had been cut and split with a jumper wire installed. This is going to fun! ordered a used RAP module to get the plugs the problem may be replacing the module. Anybody know the procedure for assigning a different/used module to the current vehicle being repaired?

You can do it using forscan if you are savvy enough
Post what year and what your trucks configuration is, (engine and trans) or you will get mostly gibberish on here
Is it bidirectional?
These days that module programming is available places online
There are sure more people on here, that know more about this subject than I do, I just have a NGS from my dealer days and know it'll do it
The people on here that I read about them doing it are "not" using a factory NGS
So, that means your Autel sure might do it
I'm about to buy one of those for my Mercedes
