Do we still have resident OEM Parts gurus? The last one I remember is Ed (FTEPartsguy, yes it's been that long!)
My 23 Tremor is sitting on a lift at my dealer waiting for a front ring and pinion for 2 months now. Ford customer service is involved, emergency requests are in the system, but the gearset is listed as backordered with no end in sight.
Wondering if we have a resource that might have better luck finding something available.

Yes we just so happen to have a new FTE Sponsor, who is an old hat (30 years work experience) in the OEM Ford Parts business.
Steve Powell, who was The Parts Man at Tasca, and previously, The Online Parts Man at Tousley, which was also known as AutoNation White Bear Lake, and which has recently been sold to a new ownership, under the name of Apple White Bear Lake Ford, which recruited Steve Powell back to his old desk at Tousley... is now a sponsor of FTE.

No I haven't. I'm not sure why it was done this was but they ordered the housing, carrier, bearings, and ring and pinion all separately.
When they ordered it all it showed 5 days for delivery, then the ring and pinion changed to 1 month plus.

I meant to ask, what was the issue that led to them needing to be replaced? Also, symptoms and troubleshooting you went through to diagnose it?
