Help needed with E4OD Park/Neutral replacement module

I have looked everywhere for a FORD Motorcraft replacement for the Park/Neutral module on my 1994 F150 4.9L E4OD transmission. The only ones I can find are the usual box stores and online stores with 20 pan bolt T style module as Switch Interrupter listed here. My question is...Is that duralast F433 has the same pin layout as Ford OEM? I can cut and solder the new pigtail on the Ford OEM wire and match the location by wire to the proper pin location. My issue is, is the pin layout on the F433 module the same as OEM? I have the OEM E4OD wire diagram, it does nothing for me because the F433 does not come with a wiring diagram! Help?

I would avoid using a Duralast brand anything, especially for this part. Since there are no instructions included you are left to your own means to R&R your MLPS. Based on the photos for F433 it includes a new connector? if so, Connector 542 is not required. More money wasted.

You do not have to cut and solder anything. The factory connector comes apart so you can remove the existing pins/wires, then re-install on the new connector. The Ford/Motorcraft MLPS came with the instructions, but as you found very difficult to find. If it were mine, I would use a Standard Motor Products NS-94 version. Not the cheap product line, the professional grade. It has instructions.

As @rla2005 said. I bought mine from RockAuto, came with paper instructions.

Thank you

My response to everyone, thank you!

Did cross and matched as suggested standard motor product NS-94 with 36k warranty and added a piggy tail to ease the cut and solder.

Do not cut and solder. Completely unnecessary and more likely to end up with bad connections later on down the road. Follow the instructions included for how to de-pin the old connector then re-install on the newer connector.

Repin

I have not de-pin/re-pin a connector. (It is a confident issue) There is always a first time for everything. Soldering is one of my strongest points in the automotive work.

Does anyone have a better wiring diagram for the MLPS connector? Truck is F150 1994 with E4OD/4.9L

Here is mine, noticed a few missing....

Question for you

The standard NS-94 MLPS...is the pin layout on the module the same as the pin on the original OEM? I checked the instructions with Standard NS-94, it labels the wiring but doesn't tell me which pin. Am I correct to assume the pin layout on the NS-94 is the same as the original FORD pinout? Don't want to make a mistake here assuming?! The way I read the instructions is pulling out one wire at a time and placing it in the same location as the OEM. Did I read this wrong?

The pin functions should be exactly the same for the NS-94 replacement MLPS. You read the instructions correctly. One pin at time....re-insert into the new connector in the same pin number.

That’s nice. How is cutting and soldering easier than this…

My 1993 F150 with E4OD was acting up yesterday. The 1994 F150 is down for repairs. The 1993 E4OD was shifting hard at any speeds and reverse had a light clunk/stalling. I tried to repin the connector, the wires were bad and some of the copper wire was about to let go. I did the cut/solder with new connector with new wires along with NS-94 standard MPLS replacement. After the repair, F150 shifts butter smooth and no clunking in reverse! Here are some pictures. I plan to swap out the 1994 MPLS as well and will try to repin if possible. You people are awesome for helping others! Big thumbs up!
