Question Trans Knocking

Hey. I have a 86 Ranger 4X4. It has a five speed mitsibishi trans. Lately I have noticed a knock inside the trans. It does it wether its in gear or not, and the truck will still move. I have replaced the input and ouput shaft bearings as well as the fifth gear assymbly and the bearing that goes with it. I also replaced the clutch and pilot bearing about twenty trhousand miles ago. Its been almost three years and I cant remember if I replaced the throw out bearing or not. any suggestions would be most appreciated, thanks, Roy

Trans knocking? I personally have never heard a throw-out bearing knock. They usually make a noise similar to finger nails dragging down a chalkboard.
Check in with the ford tranny forum as well to see if anyone has had a similar experience.
