Just acquired '79 f-150 4x4 w/400 cid and I'd like to install a tachometer. Where does it connect? At the coil? Thanks.

yes it gets hooked with the green wire to the tach clip. There other three are for a ground, light, and power.

Type the word Tach or Tachometer into the search engine here &
checking in the electrical forum & see what comes up.
