I have a 2020 f350 swd king ranch with bds coil over. Fox 2.0. so I wanted to upgrade the shocks to the Fox HTO. They can't install them because the stud is to big. Fox said the bushing is .056 or just over 1/2. My studs are closer to 3/4. Fox, bds, dealer, or the shop installing them know what to do. I didn't change them. Any input from the peanut gallery?
I put Fox 2.5s on my buddy's 2021 F250 and on my 2019 F250 with no complications. The rear shocks top mount stud was tight but the shock tapped on easy.
the bushings come in different sizes....me personally would get the correct bushing for the stud and then drill the rubber to allow the bushing a sung pressed in fit...not rocket science...if a shop wasted my time bringing this to my attention I would never use them again.
