Hi Guys
I have 2003 F-150 and I am trying to find rthe correct name so I can try and find some
Does anyone know the part number for the lights that go here. Or at least the correct name so I can go hunting.
UK based so can't pop into a local Ford dealership
Those are drain holes. That’s what I’ve always thought. Definitely not lights as those weren’t even a factory option idea until rather recently.
Lights would do no good buried behind stuff once you’ve loaded the bed, anyway. In my Ram, the bed lights are actually mounted inside behind the tail lights, opposite end of the bed.
One guy here told me about an LED cargo light/third brake lamp by Recon I believe. This may work if you require more lighting there.
In my '96, I have installed a 'power port' in the bed where I can run whatever that runs off 12V. An inverter with an LED lamp works great. Charge your phone. Whatever.
My mistake, I figured after more than 8100 posts you knew what a cargo/3rd brake light was and where it was located. If you're suggesting he install one in his truck bed, great idea!
