No it didn't work, but thanks to everyone for the input. Because of the information learned from everyone, I was able to point my mechanic in the right direction. As it turns out the transfer case clutch plates were worn and bent. The case that they were in had signs of extreme heat and a small metal disc (don't know what it's called!!), had a major crack, so all in all managed to get to the bottom of the problem before anything too serious happened. Cost 230 rials which is approximately 500 USD to fix, I think it could have been a lot more expensive without everyone's help. Thanks for the input Pete
