I was wondering if anyone here has had the front end squeaking? Mine just started the other day and I can't figure it out, I have sprayed everything with WD40 and it has not stopped. It does it when hitting bumps and I can make it do it when parked and I shake the front . Anyone have suggestions?

I Think 99Xplr is right. Earlier models had a rubber bushing witch didn’t squeak but would wear out very easily especially the passenger side because it‘s right near the exhaust. They now use a nylon bushing that seems to squeak and something you may have to live with. I’ve used silicon, white grease, WD40 and no telling what else....and it helps for a short time but it always comes back SQUEAK-IN. If your able to make it squeak while parked...have some one shake it while your underneath to make sure that’s your problem.

Thans for the replies. I took it back up to the dealer and they fixed the problem for me since I havent had it very long. I was the bushing though so thanks again for the replies
My problem was the front driver side bushing, I called about it and it cost about 30 bucks for my explorer, I was going to fix it myself if the dealer wasnt, but they did, it also has to be aligned after its done

your radius arm bushings are located just beyond your front wheels about a foot in. If they never have been replaced you’ll have to chisel the two BIG rivets off on each side and replace them with bolts….not very hard to do really. I used a big cold chisel to cut mine off. I didn’t have the frills in Sicily..lol..!!
