Hell My 2001 f150 gets condensation covering the inside of the windshield .It hasn't rained and the floors aren't wet or anywhere else for that matter. Just the windshield. I put an RV drysair in and it does gather water. Again it's not water from rain ,heater core doors or windows.I been told it's the moisture in the air with the sun warming up inside the truck and cooling off at night. Anyone else experiencing this?
That's what I though but it hasn't rained for two weeks and the floor ,doors are dry just on the windshield. I'm sure it's condensation. Talked to a neighbour who has a F150 with the same problem. I live in Southern BC..Not much I can do about it I guess these trucks aren't air tight.
Thanks Jon.
Do you run the heat on defrost regularly? You might already know but it runs the AC with it. If your drain is plugged it might be that.
Of course it could be the seal at the ECU.
The foam seal around the AC drain.
The rear brake light leaking down behind the seat and rear panel.
The rear window doing the same.
Cab pressure relief vents in the rear leaking.
Rust behind the heat shield and under the rubber where the carpet ends at the firewall.
Bad door seals.
Rust eating through the floor pan.
Windshield seal leaking.
Drain in the cowl clogged up.
I really doubt it is a cool dewy morning in your truck.

How much is collected? What is this "drysair" thing, one of those buckets with pellets or a machine?
Second thought - actually a lot depends on how you drive, where you park, and where you live. There's no real information here, just "inside of windhield gets moist".
Your heater core leaks
That is most likely what is putting the condensation on the windshield
Temporarily block off the heater hoses as a test for a few days
Are you using antifreeze or straight water? You won't get much smell with just water.
You probably have water under the floor material (carpet or rubber) and in the various crevices, like under the door sills. It's not visible but it will still vaporize and recondense.
Good luck. You'll get more detailed possibilities if you add more details to your posts. There's kind of a correlation.
+1 on heater core leak. In BC he will have antifreeze but I have had a few go bad with and never have been able to smell it first. You could leave it in the sun with the windows down and get rid of the condensation on the windshield. Then close the windows and run the defrost and if it comes back in a few minutes you know its the heater core. This is how it would work in heater cores I have had go bad anyways.
