I have an 88 f-150. It is letting water in from the windshield area on the roof. I just wanted to check there’s no other causes before I take it back to the windshield place that resealed it last.
This is where the water was. I pulled the thing down trying to see back there so you can’t see it as well. But you can still see the remanence of the water.
Metal frame behind it could be rusted. My '88 has that issue. Remove that upper interior trim to try to pinpoint it.
Agreed. It may not be the glass shop's fault. My '92 F150, formerly an AZ truck, leaks in the upper LH side corner due to rust, not due to the glass sealant.
As Hit Man X said, take that trim apart and start poking around. But do it CAREFULLY, otherwise bad words may be spoken.
