Is reductant heater covered under warranty?

I will ohm it out when I get a chance, it's been Cold here first year truck has been in Buffalo, NY winter Go Bills!!!
2020 F350 apx 81,000 miles

 

Reductant heater is covered under emissions warranty, but only to 50K miles.
There is another recent thread about this same issue.

 

heated DEF line from tank to injector is that code, mine did the same code last week here in Rochester and i just got it back from the dealer on Wed. mine was covered but mine is a '22 with 14k on the clock. i think that may only be under the 5/50 warranty so you may be out of luck? theres a video on youtube on how to replace that line, doesn't look bad if you have access to a lift, working on the ground it may suck.....

 

Ohmed it out out of spec (3-6 ohms) it reads 3k ohms so its open and bad.

So called dealer today.
NOT COVERED under out of warranty 2020 F350 81,100 Miles $479.99 plus tax to change out,
Part number HC3Z-5J249-EE $238.01 my cost. Looks pretty easy but not sure I have the time.

 

I'd search around some, pretty sure you can find it cheaper, and an independent shop would install it cheaper.
I don't think it takes even an hour book time to swap it.

Well, there you go, lots cheaper than at the dealer.

All installed check engine cleared. Saved $400 from dealer easy job love my pole barn with heated floor!!!
New one ohmed out at 4 ohms.
