As for the "stuck up" car guys / clubs I think you get that anywhere. I would say we have one club here like that.
But for the most part the other clubs are pretty cool and try and help each other out.
Heck our leader drives a patina VW bug and lets kids sit in it at cruises and shows. The rest have nice looking cars & trucks up to 1 member that has a showstopper 34 roadster, Rolls Royce Ghost, top of the line Tesla and a newer Vet. Vary down to earth guy and is the first to say let go to the burger joint as a group.
I also think a lot has to do with where you live and the weather. Where I am something is going on year round, we had a New Years Day cruise that another club held we went to.
But it is really starting this weekend as there is a cruise Saturday and our club has our first of many on Sunday.
I will say even if you dont join a club check into what they support / give back to and go to their shows not to win but to help them support who they help.
Everyone ends up being a winner

Nice looking bump side
The winer is nice looking also ........ for a Chevy
Again for the most part it is nice to hang with like minded people and what ever money to enter shows goes to a good cause.
At least your weather looked warmer that ours with poeple in Tee shirts and shorts.
Yesterdays cruise was cold (about 60*f), overcast, windy and felt a few drops when I first got there. We had about 20 cars show up as I think most were worried about rain.
Todays cruise is going to be warmer (65*+) and sunny so hope to have a good turnout.

tlThanks. yes the Chevy was nice. Talking with the owner he did the work himself, like mine. Some entries bragged about where they they bouhgt the car or truck. haha. l take Pride in knowing every nut and bolt.
