Interesting car...I don't have much experience with the Meteor marque but it looks like a Ford shoebox with a Mercury front end.

It is - just made by Ford, Canada.

I had a 50 Merc for a number of years and collected a lot of parts for it. One part that was in high demand with the Ford shoebox guys was the Merc grille surround...put a Merc grille in a shoebox and you had something that was really different. I wonder how many of those SoCal guys knew that there was a Canadian model that already had a Merc grille from the factory?
