I have a 1988 F-150. I’m having intermittent electrical issues. I just had to slam on the brakes very hard, and now the blower motor, ac compressor, my CarPlay screen on fuse 6 (speed control/shift on the fly), and maybe some other things I don’t know yet are having issues turning on and off. I shook some wiring around, (including my viper alarm/remote start. I couldn’t replicate the issue. But it did it on and off 2 times in the 15 minutes I spent looking. Anyone know of a connection that has all these things in common? I did push on the ignition switch connector, on top of the column. Not the wires though. Ran codes KOER. Just got the 34 and 44 that were already existing
I didn’t see any grounds behind the kick panel. But I can’t get the power to cut out anymore. I hit EVERY bump on our dirt road, and slammed on the brakes. So I can’t test if it’s losing power or ground. I took my power probe with me to test the ground under the dash I have the screen on, since that’s the most accessible of everything shutting off and if it didn’t have ground I could send ground to see if it came on. But like I said it didn’t shut off again.
