Body Control Module Issues?
Initial cause: dead battery due to leaving an electrical device plugged into the cigarette lighter. Jump started (correctly).
Symptoms: Hazard lights always on, no turn signals, no cruise control, no door locking by pressing on the door buttons, warning light brake fluid low (it isn't), and warning light saying parking brake on.
I've taken it to the shop and they said it was the Body Control Module. They replaced it, which solved the problem, but it started up again in a couple of days. Replaced BCM again. Problem Recurred again. Getting ready to take it back to the shop, but just wondering if any of you all have ever seen anything similar?
Especially an 'invisible' issue that might cause BCM's to go bad repeatedly?
Thanks for any advice!
